Hey there, it’s your book-buddy Cory!
I finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo last night. OMG, I absolutely loved it. I cannot wait to share more about it in my next wrap-up.
I’m still working on Triggers. To be honest, it’s kind of a boring read. But then, most self-help books are. I don’t know why I torture myself sometimes.
I’m starting The Collective by Alison Gaylin. It was my Book of the Month pick a few months ago. I’ve heard such great things about it. I’m excited to read it.
I really need to reorganize my TBR bookshelf. Perhaps, I could do a video bookshelf tour while I do it. Would you like that?
As always, please don’t forget to show your love by liking this email and leaving a comment. I’m excited to hear from you!
It Starts With Us by Colleen Hoover
It Ends With Us was all the rage during 2021. It wasn’t my favorite Coho book, but it was a great read nonetheless. One of the best characters in the book was Atlas.
Atlas was Lily’s first love and was there for her when no one else was. Even though he made some poor decisions about making his feelings known, he’s a great guy.
This new book is going to tell the story from Atlas’ perspective. And possibly give us some insight into what happens after It Ends With Us left off.
It Starts With Us is expected to debut on October 18, 2022. It already has a 4.86-star rating from 799 reviews on Goodreads.
The House Across the Lake by Riley Sager
I discovered Riley Sager during the early stage of the pandemic. Staying home, I had lots of time to read. I read Home Before Dark and became an instant fan. I ordered all of his books and binged them. I’m excited that his next installment is coming out on June 21, 2022.
This thriller is going to be about a recently widowed actress Casey. She’s staying at her lakehouse with two companions—booze and a pair of binoculars. She’s spying on the neighbors, and one day she notices the neighbor’s wife is no longer around.
Vanished.
Casey must find out what happened to her.
The House Across the Street already has a 3.93-star rating from 122 reviews on Goodreads.
Kingdom of the Feared by Kerri Maniscalco
OMG, what can I say about the Kingdom series? I love it. I devoured the first two books and am eagerly awaiting the third installment, which will debut on September 27, 2022.
Emilia is a witch and has been on a quest to solve her twin sister’s murder. She’s tangled with all the princes of hell and will stop at nothing, including marrying the Devil, to discover the truth.
Kingdom of the Feared already has a 3.93-star rating from 122 reviews on Goodreads.
